    If your shoulders …
    If your shoulders aren’t strong, this exercise should be done modified, with shoulders on the ground, lifting the pelvis from the floor to a raised position. Presuming there’s adequate shoulder strength and mobility, this exercise is more advantageous than the bridge on a ball because it incorporates upper and lower muscles, giving a slightly more comprehensive exercise while truly isolating and strengthening the lower abdominal muscles, used for ChiRunning.
