An Extract from ‘A Thin Red Line’ by Yunna Studio.
This extract from a piece of contemporary dance is about relationships. It was performed at the annual amateur modern dance festival ‘Dance for Fun’ in Guangzhou (Canton), China, on November 19th 2006. Much of it is improvised.
The performers, Zoe Kwan, Janet Chen and Tao Yin are amateur performers and contemporary dance enthusiasts. Zoe (the dancer with a ponytail) went to the 2006 summer school at Laban in London and has recently begun teaching Contemporary at Total Fitness gym in Tianhe Bei Lu, Guangzhou.
